that relaxes your mind and body
A Washi-no-ma is a beautiful space made by craftsmen by arranging traditional Japanese mulberry paper on the floor, walls, and ceiling by hand. Our therapists will unwind your body and mind with a superb foot massage that leisurely soothes them. This space and experience provide a feeling of comfort like being wrapped in a cocoon. It is exceptional relaxation that can only be experienced at Arashiyu Kamakura Bettei.

Footbath
Take the time to enjoy a footbath just for you with a tub of your own. In addition to our other four courses, we also offer a limited Kamakura Blue course using blue flowers at Kamakura Bettei. Halfway through your foot bath, hot water and our original bath salts are added so you can enjoy a soothing, warm foot bath right to the very end.
Salt Scrub
Arashiyu’s original salt scrub, containing salt, your choice from among three aromas, and dried herbs, can be added to your foot bath as an option (+¥1,100). When you lift your feet so hot water can be added to your tub, you receive a scrub massage to remove dead skin cells from your skin.
Foot Massage
Foot Massage Our therapists carefully relieve your fatigue and guide you toward relaxation. As options, we offer a menu item that relieves muscle tension with heated basalt stones, as well as massage for the neck and shoulders.
Drink
One complimentary drink, such as matcha (powdered green tea), matcha latte, or hojicha (roasted green tea), is served with each foot bath. We also have paid menu items such as amazake (fermented rice drink), sake, sparkling sake, and Kamakura craft beer.
